After much research/study, prayer and fasting, and meeting with our spiritual father/confessor (parish priest), here’s how you can become a faithful, pious Orthodox Christian member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church…
Checklist
1. Get baptized and chrismated in the (canonical) Orthodox Christian Church!
2. Pledge your time, talent, and treasure! But how much of the latter? (Holy Scripture says 10% of our earnings, believe it or not; see Genesis 28.22 and Numbers 18.26!) A faithful, well-planned (weekly/monthly/quaterly/semi-annual/annual) offering is expected of anyone who wishes to become a member of the parish.
3. Participate and continue to develop a healthy, spiritual relationship with an Orthodox Christian spiritual father/confessor (i.e. such as our spiritual father) and, with his blessing, participate in the sacramental life of the Orthodox Church on a regular basis!
