Orthodox Christian Bible Study
The goal of Orthodox Christian Bible Study is to further our understanding of Holy Scripture as interpreted by the Holy Fathers of the (Eastern) Orthodox Christian Church. Meetings are held weekly (unless noted otherwise) and the biblical passage of study for each meeting is typically the upcoming Sunday’s Gospel lesson. One and all are invited to attend!
*Please note that the following two books are used in conjunction with O.C.B.S.: (1) The Orthodox Study Bible (which includes both the Old and New Testaments) and (2) The Bible and the Holy Fathers for Orthodox (edited by Johanna Manley).
