Prior to his current assignment, Rev. Fr. Theodore C. Roupas served first as an attached clergyman of Saint Athanasius Greek Orthodox Church (located in Arlington, Massachusetts) and second as the associate parish priest of Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (located in Raleigh, North Carolina), from 2008 until 2010. Effective January 1, 2011, Father Theodore began serving as the presiding parish priest of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church (located here, in Nassau, New Providence; Bahamas). In the Spring of 2004, he graduated from Furman University (in Greenville, South Carolina), where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion. Soon after completing his Master of Divinity degree at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (in Brookline, Massachusetts) in the Spring of 2008, he was married and ordained to the Holy Deaconate and Priesthood. Father Theodore’s interests lie in the field of Orthodox Christian spirituality, health and exercise science, ham radio, and aviation. He enjoys spending time with his wife as well as visiting monasteries on a frequent basis, seeing monasticism as a helpful component for understanding and living the Orthodox Christian spiritual life fully.
